Meet Monroe: Mitch Tucker


How long have you been at Monroe, and what do you do here?

I have been at Monroe Engineering for well over 10 years. Currently, I manage contract manufacturing, manufacturing sales, and production.

Describe your background:

The first half of my career I spent roughly 20 years working in startup companies – with a focus on sales and marketing. However, the last 20 years of my career I have focused solely on operations, sales and marketing for industrial manufacturing and production.

What are your hobbies?

Boating, cars, aviation, art, and shooting sports.

What did you want to be when you were small?

When I was a kid I wanted to be an Astronaut or Pilot.

Who is your hero?

My hero has always been Mr. John Wayne.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

I think I could survive just fine on a nice tropical Island

What is your favorite movie, tv show, or book – and why?

Movie- Lonely and the Brave It’s a story of a cowboy against the modern age.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

2 eggs over easy crispy bacon, hash browns with cheese and onions, wheat toast with cold pats of butter.

What would you sing at karaoke night?

Born to be wild

 If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?

Fly a P-51 Mustang and have dinner with Raquel Welch.
