Now\nin its 34th year, the Entrepreneur Of The\nYear program honors entrepreneurial business leaders whose ambitions deliver innovation,\ngrowth and prosperity as they build and sustain successful businesses that transform\nour world.\nGarrett Morelock was selected as one of 29 finalists by a panel of independent\njudges from a competitive pool of nominations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Award winners will be announced through a\nspecial virtual event on Thursday,\nOctober 8 at 6 p.m. EST and will join a\nlifelong community of esteemed Entrepreneur Of The Year alumni from\naround the world. This year, unstoppable\nentrepreneurs who have provided extraordinary support for their communities,\nemployees and others during the COVID-19 crisis will also be recognized for their courage, resilience and\ningenuity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a>Entrepreneur Of The Year <\/a>is one of the\npreeminent competitive award programs for entrepreneurs and leaders of\nhigh-growth companies. The nominees are evaluated based on six criteria, including overcoming\nadversity; financial performance; societal impact and commitment to building a\nvalues-based company; innovation; and talent management. Since its launch, the program has\nexpanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities in over 60\ncountries around the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s an honor to be nominated for this prestigious\naward in an extraordinary year.&#8221; Garrett said. &#8220;If you look at all\nthe nominees over the years, it&#8217;s an esteemed group and is extremely humbling\njust to be nominated.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the last 22 years Garrett has led Monroe\u2019s growth from\na small regional to a national manufacturing company with over 20 locations\nserving tens of thousands of customers across North America.
