OneMonroe is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Great Lakes Tile Products, a company with a rich heritage rooted in the American dream. Founded by Philip Crocenzi after his arrival from San Marino, Italy, in 1948, Philip began his journey in Detroit as a tile setter. Over the years, he honed his craft to perfection and, together with his brother-in-law Aldo, established Ideal Tile Company in 1968. This venture was aimed at preserving and passing on his expertise to his three sons.

Under the stewardship of Philip’s middle son, Larry, the business evolved into Tile Concepts in 1986, focusing primarily on residential tile installations for major home builders like Pulte Homes. Larry's deep involvement from a young age not only enriched his skills but also broadened the company’s scope and scale, propelling it to new heights and significantly expanding its market presence.

The journey led to the inception of Great Lakes Tile Products, Inc. in 1999, driven by Larry’s initiative to overcome the challenges of escalating costs and limited availability of tile trims. Today, Great Lakes Tile Products stands as a premier manufacturer of top-quality aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and PVC trims and transitions, serving a broad clientele across the USA and Canada.
