You should consider the installation requirements when choosing push plates. All push plates are installed using threaded fasteners. You can drive the threaded fasteners through a push plate and into the door behind it. With that said, some push plates require more threaded fasteners than others. A push plate with four threaded holes will require four threaded fasteners, whereas a push plate with six threaded holes will require six threaded fasteners.
Push plates, of course, are available in different sizes. Most of them are rectangular, but push plates vary in size. You’ll need to choose push plates in an appropriate size for the doors with which you intend to use them.
