Congratulations to Shane Baughman on being Employee of the Month for September 2024!!
We are thrilled to congratulate Shane on being named Employee of the Month! Shane embodies the values of hard work, adaptability, and strong communication. From day one, he’s shown his dedication by not only excelling at his own duties but also ensuring that the entire team grows stronger through his guidance and follow-up. His attention to detail has strengthened the bond within our office and within OneMonroe. Let’s all congratulate and celebrate Shane as this recognition is well-deserved!
Nomination
“On my first day of work at One Monroe, Shane was walking me through a client’s warehouse where we were working on quotes. Some trash had accumulated around the area that was about to be ours. He dove right in on cleaning it up and grabbing a broom while stressing to me and our team that was assembled that we always leave it better than when we found it. I think Shane leaves this office better than when he found it every day. He not only takes care of the duties expected of him, but he takes time to go over the tasks of everyone in the office. Making sure not only that the tasks are completed, but that there is a level of understanding that will help this team grow to be stronger assets for One Monroe and ensures that we see the big picture.
Interpersonal Skills / Communication
Our office has a pretty wide net as far as interests go. Shane knows many of our hobbies and can talk to all of us on some level about them. I think it helps strengthen the bond that this office has. Shane also does a great job with followup. He is very attentive to the needs of our employees and clients.
Knowledge of Job
Shane’s memory is very impressive. He knows our warehouse very well and doesn’t have to look up many parts. More than that, he knows our client’s locations extremely well and can give fantastic directions to anyone who needs assistance. Shane also has his finger on the pulse of not only this office in Perrysburg, but in Cincinnati and Lexington as well. He remembers part numbers and costs at a level that can only be called encyclopedic. Its honestly absurd. And he still has room in that brain for movie quotes.
Adaptability
This may be where really shines. Shane handles his responsibilities here at the Perrysburg office as well as Cincinnati and Lexington. There are days where there is a lot of time on the road or maybe a night or two away from his wife and kids, but he makes it work for all involved including Perrysburg, Cincinnati, Lexington and the wife and kids.
Additional Information:
I have never had a boss that works as hard as he does. I believe that he really loves what he does. You can see that love in the way he carries out his work. He definitely deserves Employee of the Month, probably Employee of the Year too.”
