Employee of the Month: Russ Powers

Congratulations Russ Powers on being the Employee of the Month for April 2022

Nomination

Russ recently joined OneMonroe in late 2021. He hit the ground running taking on big projects including overhauling our blog sections and developing a new Titan website. These projects were no easy task, if that wasn’t enough he showed his skills and devotion when he set up and built the new backend to our new 1monroe website. Also, he is a workhorse and works after hours and on weekends if required willingly.

Effective communication is arguably one of the most important variables contributing to the success of a web design/development project. Russ has this mastered. He knows the correct questions to ask and who to ask. Russ has been an integral hire for the marketing team. Having such a powerhouse as a web developer allows the team to branch out and expand our marketing presence to our customers.

Russ has a couple of decades of experience. Over the years, Russ has built up a wealth of programming languages, database design maintenance, and SEO. Even with his wealth of knowledge, Russ is always interested in learning something new to tackle a difficult project.

It’s this “go with the flow” mentality that allows Russ to thrive in his job. He isn’t afraid of change and can easily shift gears and doesn’t get flustered. Whether that’s fixing a small bug that pops up in the middle of the day or changing gears mid-project to better fit what our salespeople or customers need.
