Congratulations Michelle Pages on being Employee of the Month for November 2022!
Nomination
Michelle started in December of 2021 and had some big shoes to fill as she was replacing someone retiring after 15+ years of working with the company. To say she hit the ground running would be an understatement. From day one she attacked the accounting position as trying to understand the issues, what caused them, and making sure they get resolved. She’s done a fantastic job of working with all the departments to better understand their processes to get the full picture of how they effect the accounting side of the business. I appreciate that she stops to break down and teach others the problems that could arise when something is missed on their side of the process. It really helps the team grow and better ourselves as a whole.
She has done a phenomenal job at working with our customers and collecting on receivables. Knowing when to be tactful and knowing when to be a little bit pushy, which is a delicate balance in this position. Very happy to say that our receivables went from having 13% of the balance 30+ days overdue at the end of 2021 to under 1% 30+ days overdue. This is in large part to Michelle being organized, persistent, and JUST GETTING IT DONE. I couldn’t ask for this to look any better.
Thanks for keeping all of us in line, Michelle, and while doing it still make us smile, laugh, and make this a more enjoyable place to work. – Randy Dutcher
